SocialSensor was accepted for presentation at the WWW2012 EU projects track, 16-20 April 2012, Lyon. The paper is entitled "SocialSensor: Sensing User Generated Input for Improved Media Discovery and Experience", written by Sotiris Diplaris, Symeon Papadopoulos, Ioannis Kompatsiaris, Ayse Goker, Andy Macfarlane, Jochen Spangenberg, Hakim Hacid, Linas Maknavicius and Matthias Klusch.
CERTH-ITI team participated at location-based services workshop in Sofia presenting social media clustering technologies together with Bulgarian companies.
CERTH is organising an exploitation activity in its premises on 15th December 2012, where relevant to SocialSensor technologies will be presented to a large audience of companies, venture capitals and organisations.
MK Group at CERTH has released an iPhone application for ClustTour. ClustTour mobile enables an intuitive exploration of the interesting landmarks and events for more than 30 cities worldwide, making use of automatic analysis methods on large amounts of tagged photos from Flickr.

SocialSensor will be presented at the Media Search Cluster, during the 8th FP7 Networked Media Concertation meeting that will take place at the European Commission premises in Brussels on 13-14 December 2011.
