SocialSensor, in cooperation with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (TIFF), released a questionnaire to the TIFF staff, volunteers and twitter followers, in order to gather feedback for the user requirements of the Infotainment use case.

SocialSensor successfully initiated its activities in the kick-off meeting that was held in Thessaloniki, Greece on the 7th and 8th of November 2011. Interesting discussions and first decisions and plans on use case requirements, data collection, architecture, DySCO and research activities are the highlights of the meeting.
The Thessaloniki International Film Festival (which is in full swing these days) was also present, by giving a very interesting and useful presentation, while also touring the consortium members around the sites of the Festival.

SocialSensor will cooperate with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival aiming to exploit new social media analysis technologies for enhancing experience of the Festival attendants. To this end a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between CERTH-ITI and the Festival.
